Professor Andreas Taubert

Prof Andreas Taubert is the Deputy Director, Institute of Chemistry, University of Potsdam, Germany.

Andreas Taubert is a materials chemist with an interest in erergy and environnmental materials focusing both on their sythesis and their properties. Since 2012 he has been tenured Professor of Supramolecular Chemistry and Hybrid Materials at the University of Potsdam. Previous stations include the University of Basel, the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, the University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, Universite de Strasbourg, and the Max Planck Institute of Coloids and Intrerfaces. Current research focuses on ionic liquids as tools for advanced materials design in relevant technological fields such as solar energy conversion, electrochemistry, water splitting, and water treatment.
