Dr. Aemere Ogunlaja

Dr. Aemere Ogunlaja is an environmental biologist with research experience in soil and water quality monitoring. She is a fellow of Schlumberger Faculty of the Future and did her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa in 2016. She is presently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biological Science, Redeemer’s University. She is the Academic Program Coordinator of the African Center of Excellence in Water and Environmental Research, Redeemer`s University and she is part of the Water Ecosystem Monitoring and Biotreatment research unit (WEMBU) in the Centre.

Her research interest and activities encompass;

1. Molecular approach to Environmental Studies
2. Bioremediation / Biotreatment
3. c. Impact assessment of oil pollution on soil, water and fauna.
