Grace Sename PETER

Grace Sename PETER is a Doctoral student in the Department of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. She is currently an awardee of a joint TWAS-ISDB scholarship under the African Center of Excellence for Water and Environmental Research (ACEWATER) at the Redeemer’s University.
She has a MSc in Molecular Biology from the World Bank affiliated African Center of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases (ACEGID) and a BSc in Microbiology from Redeemer’s University. Her research interest has always been on microbial resistance to antibiotics. Her PhD focus is on Biodegradation of residual antibiotics in waste water focusing on hospital effluents.
